Apprentice company

Our Training Companies provide young people and adults with the opportunity to complete a vocational education, and we believe it is a very important societal task. We are proud to have several approved training companies that can offer training in various fields. The marking scheme of the Directorate of Education highlights that we have approved training companies that have at least one apprentice.

We believe apprentices and the apprenticeship system are important contributions to creating a good learning and working environment for all employees. A good learning environment presupposes that the training company meets all HSE requirements and has a good psychosocial work environment. Keywords here are openness, collegial support, generosity, thoughtfulness, trust, tolerance, and recognition. We take the working environment seriously and also work purposefully to prevent bullying and harassment. We want to continue a well-established motto from school: A good place to be, a good place to learn!

We collaborate with OKAB, which is the Training Office for construction and mining trades. OKAB is a cooperative organization between companies and enterprises regarding the intake and training of apprentices and trainees.

OKAB assists the company and our apprentices with:

• being a resource for member companies in the field of vocational training
• assisting member companies in the implementation of the apprentices' training period
• increasing companies' access to qualified labor through recruitment efforts
• contributing to educating youth to become skilled workers in the construction industry
• contributing to increasing the competence and reputation of the trades

Do you want to check if the company has an apprentice?

In the National Register of Training Companies (NLR), you can look up companies that have at least one ongoing apprenticeship contract. You can narrow your search to specific trades or geographical areas. You can also search for named companies. The register is updated once a week. See nlr.udir.no.
