A family-owned business with roots dating back to 1966.

The company was established by Kjell Foss in 1966 and is today a wholly family-owned business with several subsidiary companies, totaling 113 employees.

In 1994, Kjell Foss AS was established as a limited company. Kjell Foss AS is a member of the industry associations M.E.F. and Norsk Bergindustri. We have close collaboration with suppliers and consultants in the fields of drilling and blasting. Liability insurance is provided by If Skadeforsikring NUF, and we are approved in StartBANK's supplier register.

The company, along with its subsidiaries and sister companies, has six selected safety delegates. The goal of our HSE work is to maintain a good internal working environment, take optimal consideration of the external environment, and deliver high-quality projects every time. To ensure the well-being, safety, and competence of our employees, internal courses and meetings are held regularly. All employees are equipped with a personnel handbook containing HSE documentation, procedures, and all necessary forms for ensuring safety in drilling and blasting operations.

Over the years, Kjell Foss AS has established partnerships with many reputable collaborators in the drilling and blasting industry. Several of these are wholly owned subsidiaries and sister companies (see Subsidiary and sister companies. The company has strong financial stability and liquidity and operates throughout Norway and the Nordic region.
